  • A quick tap of the dictation key is now completely silent — no pill, no sound. While you hold, a small glass circle waits at the pill’s spot and blooms into the recording pill once it’s clear you mean to dictate.
  • If your fn key opens the emoji palette in macOS, two quick taps no longer start an accidental hands-free recording — that gesture stays yours.
  • Babbla now learns your vocabulary on its own: dictations are mined in the background for the terms you actually use, and the dictionary comfortably scales past a hundred entries.
  • Starter glossaries for medicine, law, academia and finance ship built in — pick your field and Babbla knows its terms from day one.
  • You pick languages, not models: the right engines follow automatically, and updating Babbla never pauses dictation behind a surprise download.
  • Corrections you make in a terminal are learned even when the screen scrolls while you type.
  • Setup now lets you try your first dictation in a guided field before heading out into your apps — and pasting into Babbla’s own windows works.
  • Insights shows the median cleanup time next to transcription, and Babbla’s windows no longer open behind the app you’re in.

  • Pasting into Slack works. Slack, Chrome and other Chromium-based apps told Babbla nothing was focused even when you were in a text field, so every dictation there ended in “couldn’t paste”. Babbla now sees through that answer.
  • Auto-learning your corrections is actually on now. The spell check treated every name as an ordinary word, which silenced learning everywhere — fixing a dictated word now teaches Babbla what you meant.
  • Corrections are also picked up in terminals, which never announce their edits.
  • The pill adapts its tone to what’s behind it instead of assuming a dark backdrop.
